With this home, I decided to add some details to the walls to add a little bit more character throughout the house, I achieved that by doing a board and batt wall treatment in the entry that flowed in the dining room and rustic wood walls in the loft and master bedroom. The cabinets throughout were a rich dark brown stain so I brought more of those rich brown tones and warmness in through the tile flooring in the main parts of the house. But I decided to add an unexpected element and paint the walls throughout the home a very light and airy gray, to blend the warm tones and cool tones I furnished the home with different wood tones, beiges and some gunmetal gray accents.
